I mashed up my first car - vh. i remember one time, going for my p's test (dont think anyone can top this lol), I was being over cautious, and saw an orange light so started to stop abruptly. next thing guy rear ends me an the driving inspector is all 'ahhh ive got concussion hahaha!' best birthday present lol although my old man being the legend he is, pulled the whole front end out and fixed it and we got a replacement front end. Car was a throw away an had been bent on most panels so we sold it when i was ready to buy a vl.

If he really wanted to look after his brother he could teach him to drive safely tell him its not cool to do stupid **** just because he drives a high powered car. Like I said before we all drive vls, a vl was my first car i drove safely and i have lived 2 years on my p's, if you drive like a stooge you can you can kill yourself in a daewoo.

Like i said guys, he loves the car just as much as any of us on here, he really doesnt have money for a new car so the vl was the obvious choice to give him, but i didnt just want to rush in and hand it to him, ive already given him the big brother talk and it seems as if he gets it. He's a sensible guy and I trust he will take care of it, he has just gotten his p's, on friday actually and he's been dying for me to give him the keys... lets just hope he doesn't make any dumb mistakes aye...

It's a powerhouse Kane. It's heaps more powerful than a late model Astra / Barina / Focus. My concern would be the lack of safety features (Airbags / ABS) and general poor condition of 25 yo car. Not that any of this matters.

LOL i honestly thought i was missing something.. Kid's get old cars, people survived before there was airbags/abs and all that stuff. I had a 5L VK Calais wagon as my first car, I'm still alive.

And 4.11's. That's pretty hektic My first car was the maroon n/a manual. I did some stupid stuff in it but nothing too extreme - I don't think there's anything wrong with giving it to your brother. I'd make him buy it off you though.

Give your bro the car, seriously if hes a car enthusiast and like most ****s i know he will treat his big bro's old car with the most respect you can imagine. As for power figures, my mates VL same mods but with MF5 and 3.7s reeled off 109rwkw.
