well if the compressor surge worries you and the ability and quality of the "dose" then option 2 might be a fully sick BOV with the loudest trumpet available vented straight out. Then again you could cut the exhaust off half way, that would be LOUD, especially with the foot down. Or just buy an old WRX that already has the full "sickness".

I want a loud ass lumpy VL with a dump valve, that doses like a mofo, thats cheap and drives like **** when cold but not too ****. If I get a turbo that reduces surge to dose with and it doesn't dose how dumb would that be? (perhaps I just answered my original question) Besides there's gonna be no BOV and 6 of meters of pipe so it will dose automatically, I just wanna make sure I don't **** up a good bb turbo when it happens. This is SERIOUS **** here, I'm not just fapping over a turbo rocker cover this is happening. As soon as I have some space a portable painting booth and clean room is going up. SO, no holes? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

So your more worried about the noise your car makes off the throttle than the performance of the turbo while your on the throttle?

People came in and started bitching about what I was doing and I was all like "dude does this dose or not?". Seriously, like you helped, do you want a spare space reserved to explain that pic earlier or just leave it? Thanks and all, but it really wasn't much information. I honestly CBF now, no holes it is. And if it blows up I will keep it under my seat to bash someone when they try to roll me at the lights inevitably one day. Also, thnx to any body being being positive/constructive, but I'm out. Basic summary, if your rich, dose on. If your paranoid/poor and still want to dose, don't use an intercooler or much piping to reduce the stress or get a bov and hide it. That's ignoring all other problems with doing those things of course. Fin.

I think it's one here now because my mate doesn't have a bov or a cold air intake and he can't have a cooler (or has to take it off lots) with a supercharger but I'm not sure.

I don't wanna like start another thread explaining why I want a BB turbo on a ****box, some people put cars on those 40 or whatever inch tyres and do burnouts in them or people rolling around with 45 camber, it's gotta have a more artistic point to it than that. K, for a daily driver I want a VL Berlina converted to a Calais that's annoyingly lumpy, has a loud turbo noise and dose, and will scare old people not by putting my foot down but just driving really slowly by them with them thinking "wtf is thaDEAR LORD A CAR!?!". The turbo I hope to run somewhere between 14 and 15psi and the engine/drivetrain ect. have already been designed, just no turbo. All I wanna know is will a cheap turbo with holes in it will dose OK or poorly, or if no one knows or hasn't tried it? Oh yeh, I'm pretty sure it's 1 intake modification, so I think your turbo, intercooler and cold air intake need to be 1 thing . If the turbo is situated in a cool area with a short pipe to the filter that's not breathing cold air directly then that's ok, the area can be vented to allow cold air in of course . Although it's not like a cop will understand this anyway, I'd probably get less grief if I left it on the back seat. My wrists hurt. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Owning a vlt u have to be rich seeing they r unrelaible unless untouched, the chances r stress is gonna affect the turbo before someone steals it or blows up is more then likely impossible that would be least of your worries honestly or just a ****ty turbo will break

I've got a little bit of money just I don't want to go forged anything or more than $700 - 800 for the turbo. If there's a 'cheap used/f'ed turbo's' thread I'll have a look but if not or if there too expensive I will just ditch the idea. I suppose it is best to avoid a failed turbo gunking up an engine after doing all of that to it. Oh and they wont be too successful with stealing it, tray detector, GPS and laser interlock grid with all custom and confusing electrics in steel boxes. No siren, no real point. The car alerts me that it has been moved by sms and within 2 hours police will have started the recovery process. ^^

No keys and a controller more complex than a satellites, nope. SO, nothing constructive today? Awwrightie then..
