29-09-11, 12:04 GMT+10#27 Thanks for all the info guys! I am currently running E85 making around the 400rwkw and went 9.96 @ 137mph, not bad on ACL forgies, stock rods and a GT35/82. Was just wondering how far you could go with E85. By the sounds of it there is no limit on it at the moment! Just what I wanted to here!
LIQUID GOLD!!!!!

29-09-11, 12:16 GMT+10#28 The figures quoted on the previous page are a slap in the face to those tuners who said you are limited on the amount of boost you can run on the stuff!

29-09-11, 12:57 GMT+10#30 All the cars I've played with it so far, spool earlier, spool harder, make more midrange and do nothing but make power. There is a couple of little tricks with it, but nothing an old alky tuner wouldn't know.

Thats for the **** from the bowser! I wouldnt personally run it, but plenty of people are. Ive done my own tests at a few different servos and the best I got was 71% Ethanol.
$2.00 a litre for the good stuff from Just Fuels.

29-09-11, 14:00 GMT+10#35 I have been told the United E85 which is supposedly CSR E85 doesn't vary in its Ethanol content and is much more stable than Caltex. Can anyone confirm it?

29-09-11, 14:30 GMT+10#36 if i was racing my car at the track id be on C16..
i only use e85 cause i got a street car.. i dont think you could push a car anywhere near as hard or as safe with e85..
if youre on a budget then e85 but if you want to go real fast go methanol or c16 imo..

that 7.99 was done with what anthony would perceive as a 10 second engine...
