doubt ill go to gazzanats so im not fussed.

From a personal point of veiw, if we move it bck a week, i won't be able to go because of personal commitments. What i need though is a defenant yes i will come on the 16th or not. If the majority is going to Gazza's, then i will change the date to the next week. I would imagine not everyone will be going to Gazza's though, and as i have mentioned, the Police presence should be significantly lower elsewhere on that weekend.

id prob say dont say its an open cruise more as a ct cruise with vls or users from the forum that have other cars are welcome otherwise if everybody finds out about this cruise it could turn messy with outsiders and the vls that do go could end up with front window stickers because of random partys coming on the cruise and acting like di<kheads...just a thought.. if that make sense to u .. i dont have to worry as i dont own a vl anymore ...

Don't get me wrong, i know the coppa's are crafty little buggers that seem to be everywhere, but one would have to assume there would be more interest in some of the rif raf that Gazza's on other events like it attract sometimes. If we are doing nothing wrong to start with there shouldn't be an issue. I for one do not intend on iforming SAPOL of the cruise. This used to be common practice for my usual club, but has only caused problems lately. Someone tell me thats not revenue rasing....

I will defiantly not be attending if its on gazzanats weekend, as ill be over at MotoGP. Sorry to sound so blunt just making it clear haha. Maybe push it back 2 weeks then?

Not attending if on gazzanats weekend. Make it a later date that suits you too. it's been about 3 years since the last ct cruise so there's no rush to have this one lol.

Heres a tip: Set the date. Rain hail or shine set it in stone this is the date and time and this is where we will meet. Dont ask others opinions they will only put you down. After organising the last CT cruise in January last year. (The mystery cruise that everyone whinged about yet loved it.) We had about 20-25 VL's i found it nearly easier to organise the VL Turbo NATS. Problem with SA CT is that they fall into a number of category's. Not singling anyone out. But felt everyone could relate. Here's how it goes. No car Broken car Defected car No friends No money No petrol Dont have a VL To busy Something else is on then Is such and such going? If not im not going! No licence Cars not tuned. Cars tuned but not making enough power yet. Im too cool to associate with CT members Ive got bald tyres. Not sure if it starts where i want it to. Not sure where it will finish. I can come this day but not that day etc Need i go on..... Anyway if its on when Gazzanats is on i probably wont come either because i love laughing at the Bogans trying to do burnouts in geminis and simgmas with v8's in them that dont run right because they only have 3/4 race cams. But if Nino has his vl running ill come Moral of the story set the date and get who evers going to turn up and just cruise. End rant.

murph... gazzanats is on at AIR, not the whole of adelaide, the police have to do just that "police" the town... there wont b anymore or less police around than any other day.... and i bet if u go to gazanats u wouldnt b able to count more than 15-20 police there, despite how bogan it is whos ever seen more than a scuffle there... as steve xchase said, organise this cruise the week or 2 afta, set it in stone, mile end meet spot, victor finish and who ever shows have fun, who ever doesnt theres always next time... and steve u missed the excuse in the list "on home detention" - well thats my excuse anyway lol

Thanks for you input guys, i appreciate it the effort and have taken into consideration your tips and advice. That said, what i will do, for the benifit of everyone, i push this event back 3 weeks (6 weeks from now) to the 13Nov11. As far as i am aware, there is nothing on this weekend (AIR Drags are at the end of the month i think). I would do it earlier, but as i said before, i'm tied up myself around the end of Oct, and its not fair on you guys to have to faclitate a cruise that i organised. This will also allow me time to properly map and cruise the route first to ensure where we stop etc. will accomadate a large number of vehicles. I look forward to seeing you all there!
