Hey just letting people know I followed this guide recently but instead of a Walbro I used a Pierburg 810, didn't have to cut any pipes or bracket for it to fit. Thanks

just curious as to what the point of using the rubber hose as insulation on the sender pipe is when the bottom of the pump is butted against the metal bracket which attaches to the sender pipe?
