hmmm thats wierd that they are poping up everywhere... definately something fishy.. maybe its jsut to see where the hot spots are for people speeding and stuff so they know where to sit patrol cars?

There was one of those last weekend in Mt Martha near Martha Cove, at first I thought it was a timelapse camera (Sometimes they're used to show the building up of areas over a period of time - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-lapse). But it really didn't look like other ones that I'd seen, and I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

ive seen this camera before but didnt think much of it, but there was another camera i saw about 4weeks ago in cranbourne on sth gippy hwy noticed a white van with witches hats around it with a box on the ground and a camera on a tripod then about 2-4k down the hwy there were about 5-10 cars pulled over i assumed it was rego as most of the cars had no plates or looked like sh*tboxes

Russ would definately say that something is a bit SUS. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

most likely a tool for the highway patrol ? of all places its on prinny hwy something sus about that guys

Looks like there to catch drivers of unregistered/suspended rego cars, me and a mate saw them set up inbound to Cranbourne on the Sth Gippy Hwy the other week. A whole heap of cars with no plates pulled in etc.
