It might just be me being a skeptic and i appoligise if this hurts simmon but to hit at 150 km an hour you would need some road to gain speed coyuld there be more to this story maybee not. I do hope they both have a speedy recovery its scary being in a car with no controll. looking at them pics the torry looks like it was well engineered it was a big impact and it seems the drivers compartment is basicly in tact could this be a precident for having rollcages in street cars

look at the bend in the bars going thru the parcel shelf! with out that cage he wouldnt be alive. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Roll cages are legal in street cars, there's no need for precedents.

since when can you bolt in a cage and be defect free in a street car

u can have 4point in wa aslong as u get it checked over by an engineer, but then the car is now classed as a 2 seater!! heavy fines if u get pulled ova with ppl in the back!
