If you have the rear windows down, most P Plates blow off if they are suction cupped. The see through ones loose their tackyness and peal away from the sun. Solution, Gaff tape / racetape the f.ucker on and if you have tinted windows - tape it to the outside so it is always visible.

I must admit the only time I've ever seen a officer back down was when i was working for worksafe vic. The worksafe rep i was with got pulled over doing 44 in a 40 zone. mr cop jumps out of his car on a main rd without his high vis vest/jacket (big mistake) and decided to issue us a ticket. Mr cop walks back to his car and just before he takes off we give him a knock on the window and hand him a nice little fine from worksafe victoria. needless to say our fine was torn up. ive heard a similar story when i did my ohs course.

I had the stick on P plates for 3 years on my car and not once did they fall off... must have had miracle ones. I used to make sure if I was going out at night that they were definately on as its the first thing you're going to get done for.

Victorian roads must be littered with all the P plates that have fallen off NSW has had the same problem btw, amazing how they fall off after the driver diligently checks that they are on too

man the p plates on the back of my vl fall down all the time... when u put it on the left or right of the rear plate it makes the P plate plastic crack n snap off after 2 or so months coz of the way the rear bar is moulded wer plate number sits.. if u put it under the rear plate then most of the P plate is blocked and you get di.cked for it.. i reken P plate laws suck balls.. **** the P plates and Make the drivers wear a red, yellow or green Hat depending on what colour p/ L plater you are Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The amount of bull**** in this thread is high. p.s. did you know that if you get pulled over on a urban street by a Highway Patrol, that you can't be booked. They are out of their jurisdiction becuase they are "Highway" Patrol... They just like to do it and people just pay the fines. Don't give in next time you are pulled over by the Highway Patrol when not on a Highway! ---------- Post added 27-06-11 at 12:19 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by jadyn_fmx [View Post] dont pay the fine wait for a late notice, then you can actually nominate a driver to take the points..problem solved Good luck with that. Fine was issued to the driver - this is not a photo offence. I'm sure if you try that you will end up on perjury charges. Look up Justice Enfield and see what happened to him.

I don't think you have a case if your P plate fell behind the dash. Taken from http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/...AndPPlates.htm (http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licences/GetYourPs/PreparingForYourLicenceTest/DisplayingLAndPPlates.htm) Solid plastic These plates can be used externally if holes are drilled and they are attached to the number plates, front and rear.
