On my VL it has standard FE2 suspension. Justing wondering if you place stiffer springs in would that improve handling. When there's a few people in the car the tyres rub on the guards & has fairly springy suspension. I like the suspension in the clubsport R8 because it's stiff but with nice handling. Would upgrading to stronger springs in the VL help. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have coilovers in my skyline and it rides rough as fuck....BUT, goes mad around corners. I guess the big question is, what is more important to you? I hate the fact my car is stiff and rough to drive, but there is no way I would give up the handling at high speed, so I deal with it. Oh, and fuck airbags.

pedders coilovers are the way to go. if you are worried about ride quality... dont be. they hav 30 different positions of dampening to suit your style of driving. so you can hav it driving like a caprice or like a v8 supercar if u like. i hav just ordered a set for my vs clubby cant wait to get them fitted up.

Adjustable dampers are great, but they're only one thing that contribute to ride comfort. You have to think about bushes, springs and sway bars and even then your shocks won't have enough range to go from Caprice to V8 Supercar with the turn of the dial
