A few weeks ago, I sold My V8 Berlina to fund this project and I have been very busy ever since! I sold the 25 spline LSD to make way for a mini spooled VL turbo diff. I also fitted some boxed lower control arms and I have some square uppers on the way. I sourced 2nd hand 3" stainless steel cat-back exhaust system. Also went to sprints with a shopping list, I bought everything you would buy for a full engine rebuild without buying rings and bearings because when I opened up the A8 I have, it was in pristine condition. I had the injectors reconditioned by Carlec at Semaphore. I had the JD customs intercooler kit and ETM catch can powder coated gloss black. I got another SOHC Nissan rocker cover and painted it wrinkle red. I have also started installing the new carpet. I'll get pics up when I get back on My PC. I've been so flat out with the car, that I've been surfing ct from my iPhone.

I am in the process of piecing together a fuel system boot install. It consists of the following: 3L twin outlet surge tank from Pederson Race Fab, 044 copy and washable fuel filter from Grunt Performance, Aeroflow fittings and brackets, red push lock hose and an auto-meter fuel pressure gauge. It should be all fitted up one night this week and I'll try to add photos to this thread as soon as I can!

Im that jealous I love the canary yellow over MX grey mate. I want a yellow bt1 one day, even if its a mockup it wouldnt bother me, love the colour. The cars coming along fantastic, credit to you. Whats next, how much longer you anticipating the build for? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks guys! Yeah, it is absynth yellow. I hope to have it on the road in a matter of weeks but, that doesn't mean that the build is finished. As you should know, it's never ending! I am contemplating entering Mallanats and I am planning a trip to Heathcote in march. Once I have enjoyed it for a while, the usual upgrades will begin. eg. Cam, ECU, ignition system etc. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just purchased a Nistune and 550cc injectors off Sean (-pumba-) and fitted them up straight away. I had the intercooler piping and exhaust modified by Dr. Bolt, as they just weren't fitting right, so now the piping is in getting re-powder coated. I also have bought a BNIB genuine Bosch Z32 AFM and plug for it so will be sending it to Jaustech in the new year for a tune. PS. MallaNats this weekend!!
