Need to remember this is the first time the cars been raced with the new rear end and new motor etc. Still soo much to sort out we have made soo many changes in a short amount of time.
Now its time to iron out all the bugs and fine tune. We know the MPH has some potential even with a very lazy 1.52 60 foot at best!
Previous MPH with old motor was 134.69, so its a big jump already.
Still a lot in the tune, the car is running very safe at the moment. Still lots of boost we can put in it too.
Best part is it was done on pump fuel (Thanks caltex dandy on greens rd lol), full exhaust etc. The exact way its driven on the street bar the full slicks of course!
Still have to thank the usual suspects for helping...

Propane is 100% not a mixture of between 40-60% one or the other. You KNOW what you are getting.

15-02-11, 09:46 GMT+10#32 Got a video of the run Paul?
And stick with running it on normal servo gas, if you start using propane it will change the whole point of the car and make it more a race car.
And I know you love the fact your just using normal servo LPG.

It's not an illegal race fuel either... I dont care what he runs, im just saying if i spent all the money he did, i would be ducking in to any supergas and filling up
Even just try it once without altering the mixtures, and see what happens.

15-02-11, 12:05 GMT+10#37 Consistency in fuel IS the be all and end all.
Well done Gas, good luck for the 9, should be easy though.

15-02-11, 12:48 GMT+10#38 Im happy with normal pump LPG. Havent put much thought into propane. For starters hardly anyone sells it so it would suck if U ran the car dry looking for fuel etc. The LPG i use from everyday servo's works just fine. If I put propane in no doubt would need to retune the car then wouldnt be able to run normal LPG properly.
Ye im happy the car can run those numbers full exhaust, air cleaner etc etc.
