cheers and yeh no prob ill come help out with brakes quite easy process the hardest bit i found was disconnecting it from the pedal and there are 2 bolts in side the cabin on the firewall one of them was a bitch to get to but got it in the end. i also got a new centre console and half a high rise as it had no lid , its in a brown colour so will paint it cerulean blue then put in and also made a lid for it just needs to be covered ---------- Post added 16-06-11 at 12:15 ---------- and also the vl started missing over 2000rpm thought maybe leads or afm so quickly did the diagnostic test on the computer and turned out was afm so changed that and nows runs fine again and also sent some chasers off to be shortened to 4" for front runners but hes pretty busy so take a few weeks before he can start them, other then that the only thing that needs doing now is the rubbers that hold the exhaust up as they r stretched and ***ed and is giving me ****s wen it rattles.

ok so i get up this morning and go to move the vl and what do no it wont pick up anygear im thinking hmmmm gearbox or clutch but on investigating turns out slave cylinder for clutch is leaking and is empty, so looks like i have to get that fixed even though its only just been rebuilt not to happy.

go take my old blue hirise... its got a lid 2.. unless u wana w8 for 6months till i get bak ahaha

oh dam to late now got it all primered and ready for paint, and with lid im going to cover it in something like what the calais lid is covered in. over all im quite happy with how its all turned out had to repaint my manual cover as it is blue and my interior is cerulean blue and was quite noticeable, and dnt judge the lid as the top will be getting covered just need to get some paint this week and presto she be ready to go bak in

ok started installing surge tank and picked up walbro intank pump today as i think my old one is on the way out just gonna run the intank to surge then surge to standard external for now till i get a 044 then i will put 044 in boot with surge tank.

ok took out petrol tank today to change intank pump and fix any breather lines and wat not and finally get the tank out and what do u all the breather lines have disintegrated lol so changed all them gave the tank a clean fitted up walbro easy as, a monkey could do it. slap some paint on tank tomoz let it semi dry then slap it bak in and away i go. ---------- Post added 26-06-11 at 19:40 ---------- for anyone thats gonna install walbro i chuck some pics up as all u need to do to modify it is cut the gold pipe where the fuel hose connects to pump as walbro is alot bigger and then cut gold ring at the bottom so the filter can sit in place nicely and i also put some fuel hose around the othe gold hose to keep the pump from touch it as i dnt any chance it will short out or anything then wire it in and you r done oh and i used a walbro gss342

ok surge tank is fully installed for now till i get 044 as i will put 044 in boot and delete normal external until then this is how i set up. and tank is now silver with black straps even though its no drop tank and u cant really see it i like how it came out.

haha dnt know what u r talking bout, and battery has been relocated to boot as well and also im not a big fan of going back to the dream time every time i open my boot thanks to the surge tank and its starting to seep into car but oh well.

thanks milad gotta get a white vl cruise wen u get back. also im there are few things on my list to fix : is the back right door someone dodgy painted a bit doesnt match and new bumpers as they r bit scratched since i got it and as u can below the window strip comes out wen driving might just dodge it down till i replace front window other then that getting an 044 this week and an external gate, then a 3540 will be on the list just on low boost for now till i get more stuff ,went up to newy and me and ash got stuck in and fixed the front of his car also went on a cruise while i was up there his some pics i found of my beast ---------- Post added 16-08-11 at 19:10 ---------- also got a goodie for the 25 spline diff will stop all that single pegging crap and prob end up destroying an axel but should be bit of fun till i get my finger out my ass and get a vlt diff with 3.9 gears and 31 spline axels and disc brakes wooo

picked these lovely things up today fairly cheap,

ok not much has been happening just getting little bits and pieces but it all takes time, other then that put a gk tech cooler on not happy with it at all as it was pain to fit seeing i had to add a silicon joiner and piece of pipe deadset would never get one again would rather cut holes other then just gonna sort out afm in piping and dose pipe, also put a 3inch dump pipe on from turbz to cat thats it for now till more goodies come. gk cooler: piece i had to add was slighty visable with front bar on so decided to make it more stealth for now: ---------- Post added 07-10-11 at 23:12 ---------- oh and i may add if i didnt add that joiner and piece of pipe that pipe couldnt go on cooler and hung down like a sore cl*t Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
