I've got 18's on my Legacy and they're the smallest rims I've had on a car for at least 5-6 years Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

interesting idea for improving brakes. I went to the wreckers and picked up a pair of vs front calipers for bout 50 bucks. bolted straight on and fixed the brake fade during a decent thrashing. might try them with those pads, see if they get betta.
