Can you give a descent reason as to why this event is $200 for 1 day and then blows out to $450 five weeks before the event is on?
Lol @ having a cry about the price.
It's not like anyone is forcing you to attend.
If u don't like the price don't race then.
Also, how much does it cost to get ur car up to Sydney to race?
Pretty sure it's a ****load more than it costs to get ur car up to Calder to race...

14-10-10, 14:14 GMT+10#22 guys lets be fair here the price is not that bad for car plus 5 crew members...i think it costs $30 just to go spectate so its not that bad...more importantly though is were are the entries??? hurry up and get your entry in before close of business tomorrow so you dont get slung with the $450 late fee...there are plenty of classes that VL's fit into and most of them are Chicago Shootout so you will get a decent number of runs on a well prepared track.

I'm not crying about the price due to anything to do with my pocket, I'm crying about the price as I guarantee it will cost this event many many entries especially interstate entries, I know of a few cars 99.9% unlikely to attend
and your comment about how much it would cost to take a car to Sydney is irrelevant, doesn't give calder the right to charge high entry fees lol

I also asked him if we are gettin andra racin back there and he said no, but the government are supporting him and calder.
I dont understand why the government is supporting calder if there is no championship drag racing.

16-11-10, 13:48 GMT+10#27 The Government aren't totally supporting Calder. They have to look like they are doing something.
It is all words before the election to spice up the car fanatics into thinking we have something and they are pro active into gaining our vote.
Come after the election nothing will happen at Calder and the silly merry go round will continue of when will the Calder upgrades begin and when will work begin on the new track etc....
We should vote for whoever is willing to fund a new racing precinct in Victoria.
