I bought a set of 17" space savers for that reason and I am going to try painting them and removing the 80kp/h sticker. I think its only related to the tyre and not the rim. There is also an 18" spacesacer that looks like a VT GTS rim for guys with really big brakes. Only issue is running down some tyres for it.

http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/archive/.../t-123086.html (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/archive/index.php/t-123086.html) my gtst calipers stick out a fair bit too, so im not sure 17" pursuits would clear them to be safe. if you guys are talking about these space savers: https://cars2.ebay.com.au/COMMODORE-...mZ260647665051 (https://cars2.ebay.com.au/COMMODORE-MONARO-GENUINE-17-ALLOY-SPACE-SAVER-WHEEL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ260647665051) ? because i am fairly sure you'd have to get pretty inventive to make them look like anything other than a space saver...

So you just put those WELDS on and that's it? no need for spacers or what? I think I got the same brakes as you so yeah and also how much for tyres? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think I got the same brakes as you so yeah and also how much for tyres? well apparently there is no need for spacers, as these ones are designed to clear big "multi piston" braking systems. and if they do possibly require just a little bit more i cant imagine it would need a very big spacer at all. the $400 per wheel includes a tyre (usd) $239 a rim + $160 per tyre. as i said, to make them fit propperly they have those gay washers because they have oval bolt holes to suit ford and holden studs, but still, good enough deal for frontrunners that wont really be copping much abuse. ill let you know how they go when i trial fit them in a month or so, once i order them lol, hes still trying to organise freight. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
