If you want a timeless colour, paint it black or a factory colour Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It's sh*thouse and I'll never do it again. I would've much rathered just a clean 1JZ (or 2JZ) 4 sedan and put a few bolt-on's (35/40, manifold, wastegate, exhaust, injectors, ecu, shift kit). Would've saved myself so much more time and money. Restoring a car is expensive and may take a long time, depending on how much money you're able to make/save. I don't really care too much about getting to the strip and the bits and pieces I have now are probably a bit too much for the street. I'd be happy with a newish cruiser, which doesn't look too dodgy, plenty of room, and does burnouts if need be :/ Although it really depends on what parts you're putting into the car and what parts you put into the motor, you can go el-cheapo here and there I guess if you really wanted....but yeah nah. Just find a clean N/A Calais. Hopefully for a bargain price. With very good paint, good interior, no rust, nice lights all round etc. They can be found and if lucky it'll have a few other bonus bits (I bought my resprayed calais shell, new exterior parts all round, Skyline 4 piston brakes, front coilovers *and* registered for a few grand...) Buy an RB25DET, then chuck a GT35/40, ecu and injectors etc and you'll have 400rwhp easy and plenty of fun! Make sure the engine bay is all neat and tidy as well And if the shell itself is quality you'll have a tasteful looking vehicle, unlike many RB25 converted cars going around at the moment which are quite average imo (despite having bigger turbo etc) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

nah, im not into custom colours. Really would only want a white or a yellow base. The hardest part seems to be able to find the appropriate car.

as genki said sometimes there are those rare finds which are perfect for a project for a project car base (there was an immaculate N/A Berlina for sale with mudflaps, hubcaps, paint & interior was absolutely spotless, had under 200,000Kms & ended up selling for peanuts. i shouldve bought it ) There was an original BT1 rolling shell for sale with a brand new yellow respray for sale on here only a week ago, guy was asking $4000 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
