I pay $148.00 per year(about 12 dollars a month)No excess if stolen or fire,They also pay out for full value(52k)if the motor is removed by persons unknown.I am under classic car insurance by AMI.One of there requirements was to have the car tracked by a gps (20 dollars a month)Which I recon is worth it as there are so many things you can do with that system.eg lock and unlock doors, low battery alarm, etc and all this is controlled by your phone or computer. The outfit I use track armour guard and well as the fuel tankers and bonded couriers. Also no real limits as long as it is not a daily.

Mean. Always liked the look of VXs, they just look horn. FYI on the insurance front; NAC, Click and Clubauto, NONE of them insure for a fixed or agreed value. They insure on market value only, although they do take into account the mods done. Trouble is there is no guarantee how much they'll pay out come claim time. They all have their fine print too, ie NAC only insure custom paint up to $3000. Apparently that is how much a paint job is worth...

yeah it's a bit of a con really. They'll take a valuation into consideration though, so it will pay to have one. But... one of the things your premium is based is the value of your vehicle, so you pay heaps to protect your car, yet you have no guarantee of getting any where near that amount come claim time. The chick I spoke to NAC told me that she was dealing with client at the moment who was very unhappy with the payout they were getting.
