so its more dependant on the length and diameter of the dose pipe itself..... so in terms of intercoolers, with stock boost is it really neccessary to fork out for a pricey intercooler?? You would think the worst cheap sh!t chinese 180SX style rice spec cooler would still be marginally better than the stock intake setup?

well: a. well you cant dose without an intercooler b. you cant dose without moving your afm into the cooler piping c. just get a justjap 600x300 cooler there $200 approx. www.justjap.com (http://www.justjap.com) d. get some 2.5" pipe and put it on te front of your turbo, you'll get about a 15cm long one on there

yehhh mayte i know how to get a dose, im more interested in the intercooler :P so you rate the justjap do you? Ive read in other threads that the gktech is one of the only ones you can get which doesnt require any holes to be cut... donno how much truth there is to that... anoher thing, people say if u use too much of a "filter" on the dose pipe (yo stop **** gettin into ur motor) it will run like crap.. whats the logic behind that?? wouldn't it operate the same whether the dose pipes there or not?

if you want no holes and want it hidden get a gk tech kit easy as that heaps of people use them. put anything you want infront of the dose pipe... just dont block... put an old panel filter round it if you want

so it would seem the "gk tech" kit would be the way to go for my needs,, i think they're about $600 off ebay from memory. Yeh that what i thought bout the dose pipe... it shouldn't make a difference what u put in front of it... might affect the sound of the dose but in terms of airflow to the motor it shouldnt mean dogs bollocks. I'd be a bit concerned about water going in through there though, but i guess if ur a true ruthless muzza thats the risk you have to take. I haven't heard of any bad cases though so should be alright... would i experience any gain in performance with the intercooler on 6psi or do you think it would basically feel the same...? ---------- Post added 11-11-10 at 17:53 ---------- any one else got any feedback on these bad boys?? What other ebay units have people used?
