I got a pair of buckets for retrimming and an under dash aircon unit. Summer's on its way and this daily needs some cooling! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I took the XB down to my favourite place for taking photos - made it quite different in the rain! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Installed the power steering with an AU power steering cooling device tucked behind the front bar. Just working out how to make the brackets to work the under dash AC in. It's so good using this thing as a daily driver rather than the VY commodore - you get so many looks, thumbs ups (had a guy asking where I'd hidden batman), and it's definitely a conversation starter! Next on the list: tint windows, finish installing A/C, install GS grill with brackets for driving lights, retrim bucket seats in white, install centre console (will have to stay with column shift for the time being till we work out how to fit under dash aircon with floor shift, otherwise utilise the space for cup holders, cruise control unit etc). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Here's some updated pics of it, plus one with my dad's XB (RIP) ---------- Post added 02-04-11 at 23:43 ---------- By the way RIP was for the car, not my dad thankfully! Dad was driving his 351 XB Fairmont through a set of lights when someone turned in front of him without looking: 2 weeks later the car was delivered from the holding yard, written off with hope of some salvage: Unfortunately the chassis was too twisted so instead of buying a donor car to fix the green car, dad found a 2nd owner 302 falcon 500 with dealer GS spec and now the green car is the donor car for all its fairmont power options: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Update: Got a V8 radiator in it now to help in summer when I have the A/C on. Also put a semi gloss black grill in, just waiting on some driving lights to convert it to a quad headlight GS grill. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
