also take off - 1" bore master cylinder + brake booster front calipers (and discs) turbo dash badge turbo dash cluster (if you want to keep the OG speedo and reading on the red one that is doable. start stripping down the cluster and you will see how it all fits together. while doing that theres a little plastic cog on the side of the speedo. check it. this is what breaks and gets hairline cracks stopping speedo's from working on vl's) also kee the diff tag off of the diff (if it is LSD. if you don't want the diff tag send it my way so i can pretend mine came with LSD) apart from that i would pull the entire engine out and put it on an engine stand in your shed. (should be able to get one new under $100) it would be money better spent rebuilding the standard a8 block (wagon) than slowly swapping everuything onto the a6 and blowing it. make sure you get the ECU and the tranny comp and the carbon canister. the wiring loom is different but TBH it is only the knock sensor so you don't reall have to worry about it. i'd then strip it down to a rolling shell and slowly sell parts. (or sell the car minus the bits listed.) ---------- Post added 25-06-10 at 17:07 ---------- in fact, you might be better off to sell the wagon complete and running and spend the cash on parts... there will also be a hell of a lot less hassle involved. in fact that is what i would recommend.

you will be able to change all of the bolt ons and internals but the diff housing has different mounting points to the sedan.
