I would modify it just because the car is so clean you can put money into the drivetrain & bolt ons & not have alot more to do.

If you have the money keep this one O.G. and then buy another shell and build that up. But if you don't wanna spend big and you don't plan on selling the VL, then just build it how you want it.
Also, don't keep it O.G. just because everyone tells you to. It's your car, so if you really want to modify it you can, but don't go cutting holes in the guards...

WHERE DO YOU GUYS FIND THESE CARS?!!
obviously not carsales. but seriously. fella's like katsa, always finding the stereotypically old man or old lady or old couple with next to no kilometres on it and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor lol.

yeah its stored away now somewhere very safe. im leaving it stock, but not to make money just to preserve it and enjoy it more, like katsa said, nothing better than driving a turn key problem free vl. currently looking for a genuine a8 turbo engine to start building up if anyone know of one.

absolute minter. if you modify it modify it tastefully and do so while putting all parts in storage so it can be returned to standard. no holes cut in the dash or engine bay etc is the way to go for sure. but if a turbo conversion and springs is what you need to enjoy the car go for it! at the end of the day it started life as an n/a, if it was a turbo things would be different.
make it look factory and era correct and keep it legal. you will thank yourself when you get older and want to restore or sell it and it will keep the police happy aswell.
