yeh i was thinking the same even being manual that is massive power for the times its run so far, although it had some pretty insane mph at heathcote but not 100% sure cause they aren't exactly accurate

Even if he were holding an air temp sensor who cares, it's not like it would affect anything. His hand would be what, 20 degree's temp? It would be lower than the air intake charge which would infact lower the reading.
If it was sitting on the manifold however, that would be a different story.

Plus he looks to be holding on to the rail of the machine for support.

Hey guys thanks for the comments at the vl nats it was on pump fuel (98) it made 450kw@25psi thats what i raced with and i dont think the boost was hitting 25psi up at heathcote, on the first day it went 10.4 at 138mph on the second day it blew out the turbo gasket so i had a massive exhaust leak but the car still went 141mph but best et of the day was 10.4@136mph.
At the biggest dyno day we had it on c16 at 32-34psi max power was 891hp@wheels NO GAS with 8 guys in the car and it was still lossing traction. There is Gas in the car ready to go but we havent used it yet.
I would like to thank builder & tuner Ben D'annello for setting up the car for me with his combo and also Vic and George from Eas with help building the motor and dyno time.
We still have a along way to go with this car as we just started testing it.
The car will be at the next calder off street drags on pump fuel with around 500kws @25psi because it made 496kw on 25psi last tuesday nite having anymore then 600kws with out a bigger tyre would be deadly.

How is this car over the top. It made 664kw with C16 with NO NITROUS. The fact of it is that we tried to jam 40psi in it but the turbo maxed out on 32 and wouldnt make anymore power. This car will never run 170mph and will never race with 664kw for now as he is only rolling on 26x10s. (to dangerous)
As for the 5 speed, yeah it might not hold up down the track but we are willing to try, he has only ever raced the car on pump fuel on 450kw. Anyone who has seen this car will vouch that this is a legit powerful street car. many people have seen this thing in the build.
Ben the builder of this car is a freak with the perfect combinations he has done. He has 2 record holding cars under his belt (FASTEST R31 SKLYINE AND FASTEST VL ON LPG). Im sure that explains where Nigel got his power from.
R.I.P's run 177mph with 1400hp@wheels. Nigel has just under 900hp and he is pushing this power through a H-pattern 5 speed. So I doubt he will never get near 170mph
It made 473kw on 25psi at R.E. Customs dyno day on pump fuel and backed it up on other dyno days so why wouldnt it make 664kw on 32psi on C16.
End of the day everyone that saw Nigels car in person understands and saw with their own eyes how much power this thing makes and how much effort it took us to strap it down to the dyno to avoid wheel spin but it still wheel spun hard and STILL made 891hp.
Why do people try to be negative when we are all trying to acheive the same thing.
