Psiwagon is right been there too and havn't measured it but the wheel arch may even be narrower on the wags for more room in the cargo area ?? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Holden increased the track of the VN models (partly due to the VL's piss poor handling!!), therefore a VN diff is wider than a VL one. Not sure by how much, and I'm sure you could probably make it fit with the correct offset wheels. Better off to do it one and do it right tho... I think you can use the brake setups off of the VN, but the axles etc will be different.

theres a million threads on here about the VL/VN diffs. they are 1" wider per side. you can use them but you will need some seriously -ve offset wheels to make good use of it

So everything will bolt up sweet but the wheels will stick out 1" further on each side.. Mint, that should bring my vr? clubsport wheels out flush with the guards EDIT: Oh I see, they wont fit in the guards properly with out gay offset wheels.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

to be exact for us kiwi guys the VN diff is 25mm wider each side then the VL drum brake diff, and 20mm wider each side for the VL disc brake diff, so if you got the VL disc rear now then its only 20mm

Now im not sure if my wheels are genuine.. They are 17x8 ET: +38 and say what I think is LHT.. should they have any holden markings on them or codes that you know off ? The previous owner chromed them When I get some spare coin im going to get them de-chromed and powder coated. ---------- Post added 31-03-10 at 14:04 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by NZ VL com [View Post] i got 235 45 17 VT rims and fit sweet as, only rub on the mud flaps, yeh dont laugh at them they stop stone chips what offset are they and is your car low ?
