hey matt lol at those brakes, will be great with the slotted disks, before you put em on you should paint the calipers red or somthin.. nice glossy so you can see it thru the wheels and clean the disks up. nothin better than some nice breaks peeking thru ya rims.. and as for keepin the 8 plus as a daily or weekender... DO IT! lol when you think about it, it should sell bout the same price if not a bit more coz they didnt have any exclusive gear on them like body kits or seats n stuff right? so i reckon you should just do it up nice. get some nice 19's and slam it, imo VN's look better slammed than any other car.. i think its that flat part in the wheel arch, have it sit perfect on the rim and you cant go wrong and being realistic.. do you think you would really keep it for 20 odd years till its worth the money? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey matt whats the go with painting a disk? since the surface would change and possibly be less grip or somthin right? cars comin together well now just need a good lick of paint. as for that bit of rust on the rear window try useing a load of rust converter.. if its only surface rust that is, otherwise if its any worse itll be like pissing on a bushfire also had a thort that i know you can get fog lights and driving lights or watever on ebay and im sure you could fined a set with that same diameter on there right? wont be SS ones but its not like there badged right? keep at it bro. cant wait to see it in paint

discs shatter like that when there undersize, plus if he was ripping hand brakeys probably didnt help haha

Hey guys ive given up on this car as ive had no time and no licence to do anything else to it and the money ive saved im just gonna put into my statesman. So for some lucky person a real piece of history and a very valuable car can be yours. All the needs to be done for rwc is fix the handbrake ratchet and the rooflining is sagged thats all. $5500 phone [phone removed] You can see everything thats been done to the car threwout this thread. Car looks great just been resprayed, started 1st turn and drives beautiful. No problems with it that ive discovered.. Genuine Vn SS 8plus.. 80ever made..dont know how many are left..these cars sell for $15000 +..check carsales or ebay for proof. 1st to see will buy. Matt - heres a pic of how it is atm.
