Yes where possible gathered coils to the top.

why is that?

Im preety sure it has to do something with the compression of them, i think it gives you more of a furmer ride and makes the spring work harder as the shorter part of the coils are up the top now rather then the bottom. Maybe someone here could shed some more light.

Put your old springs back in the front!

Why is that? I thought it's ideal to have matching springs all around, and that's what i have, I understand that if I put the old springs back in, it would be even height from hub to guard roughly all around, but at least now my front pipe of the exhaust doesnt scrape on the speed bumps, and my tyres dont get chewed on the front guard when pulling up my driveway! edit: Just put the swaybar link bushes in the front!

Is that to put more weight over the front wheels?

So many warranty claims made on monroe shock absorbers / struts its not worth the effort. Go kyb at the minimum

I did buy KYB it's just that when I started the thread there was a Monroe package, but after speaking with a seller on eBay he delivered a KYB/King Springs package to suit the VL, which was good especially after all the negative comments about Monroe.

What springs did you have in the front before the new Kings went in?

I think they were pedders only cause they were red but no idea of the model no cause they were in the car when I bought it.
