Have you looked at the Calder option? Accomodation would be easier to find for interstate travellers if held at calder?

Looking into Calder at the moment. Spoke with Bob Jane today. Awaiting more information and legalities etc. Lets just say that option isn't looking all that affordable.$15k for the day. That EXCLUDES any track prep. Ambulance scrutineers etc. Heathcote looks good to me. Friendlier environment / venue IMO Maybe if we make this an annual event we can do it in diffrent states each year. As for accomodation Bendigo has over 100 hotels and its only a 20 min drive to the track.

If given the option, grab a tent and camp at the track...nothing like waking up at 8am to the smell of VHT, burning rubber, C16 and the sound of a Spooling turbo

I would really like to bring my VL down for this event. If I can get time off work I will definately be in ( I work weekends ). Late april would suit me alot better. April 24th and 25th? What is the closest town to Heathcote? Anyone know of any good accomodation down there? I also need to know if I can race with a passenger in the car? Cheers Dane

Closest town is Bendigo. This is about 20mins away. Check out WOTIF.com or google accomodation bendigo mate, There is about 100 various places of accomodation in the town. Everyone will have a bed. Last time we were able to take passanger's but it got cancelled due to to many cars. If this is of interest i will make sure that we can dedicate a time where we can take passanger's. Probably only be on the Saturday tho. Not when we have proper race's
