03-11-09, 14:06 GMT+10#26 What engine is in the 240Z is it the RB30DET or one of these RB33? In ZOOM it says it's an RB30DET but who knows, what power levels have been achieved with this RB33?

03-11-09, 17:04 GMT+10#34 the ripz rb33 was built for a customer overseas i think ireland or something for a r33 gtr get it r33 with a rb33 lol
and honestly i dont think its worth stroking them as another classic rb30 builder said he went from 3.0 to 2.8 for strengh and still got the times and mph years ago so cubes is not always needed and sometimes can go backwards! but if your searching for every lil bit of power and torque i suppose a 3.4 would b awesome can you just imagine the turbos u could run with this without worrying about as much lag! mmmm!

The 2.8 was also done to come in under a certain size for a class.
You can't beat cubic inches. More cubes, more boost = more power.
The good thing about cubes is that you can either run more power or that the torque is higher, or you dont need to rev it as hard. All benefits of having a larger motor.

03-11-09, 17:40 GMT+10#40 in theory yes
when i was talking to joe signorali at auto salon i asked him about the 3.4 compared to the 3.2 he said the 3.4 was rubbish made really no difference to the 3.2 and rather the 3.2
