GM-747 went 10.07 thats right 10.0 on a t3 highflow KNGPSI to answer your question yes it has a nissan motors comp cover. It is pointless asking specs, why you ask? simple im mates with the owner i can tell you this, it would of been very easy to bolt on a 700 roller and do what he did but the money and endless hours and i mean endless working out a setup and turbo to do what he did is an achievment. You cant go giving out your secrets when it comes to stuff like this. Im sure shauns happy to put pics up of the turbo cause its a t3 highflow plain and simple. Basically your mates gotta go less then a 10.07 on c16 and slicked up... not an easy task i know but you gotta be in it to win it. Good luck boys!

Some companies like to keep their development close to their chest for one reason or another, but after reading that GM 747 thread it sounds like the owner is wanting to keep thing's close to their chest more than JPC. I highly doubt that if anyone was to call JPC and ask for an exact turbo like the one used on GM 747 they would say no. Their business is building and selling turbo's. As if they would agree to keep one customer's in house built turbo just to that one customer. Of course they would offer it to anyone paying the money. All of this keeps the VLT scene interesting, but as I said, whoever is fastest is the master, we hear lot's of talk, hopefully the next 12 months lives up to that. We'll all be watching with great interest whether it is Fastest highflow, fastest on an 8.5 inch tyre or fastest MPH/ET. Great post and if memory serves me correctly BIGPSI did say that if someone off the street was to walk into JPC and ask for the turbo in question that they would build it but at a considerable cost of course. It has taken years of research and development to get this turbo to where it is now, I highly doubt he is going to reveal his secrets and allow somebody else to replicate or enhance it. theres no hope u can just stuff a huge wheel in the front as it will simply not fit! try measure up at t3 comp cover to a 35r front wheel! its a joke i tried it and just laughed so theres definetely more in it! and mark will do it for a cost!

Here's a picture of a T3 high flow but has a T4 exhaust wheel with a 3 inch V-band dump pipe. As for times, I don't have any. I would like to know a ruff guess. I have a LINK G3, 660cc injectors, high flow 3 inch madrel bent exhaust, 20psi and a 5spd manual. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

exactly, the pic above of the car is basically 1000words, the driver and the 2 people that you can see is more then a wealth of knowledge, plain and simple

having spoken to mark about this turbo, he's happy to build it at a price, but he is at no liberty to tell you how its done.........and really, why should he. and YES, Mark (JPC) has been in the turbo game since, 1987, if my memory serves me correctly, back in the ATS days.

its all business mate, JPC have spent the man hours and the money has been spent on getting this turbo to be the quickest, what would be the point in spending hours n hours to just give away the details to another turbo builder who could make one up exactly the same in a couple of hours, then because he knows how to do it and can do it easily, then sells it at a cheaper price than JPC, therefor putting pressure on JPC to lower there prices. Basically its just business, yes it would be great to know and i'd love to know, but then wheres the fun in that.

what exhaust manifold is that as it looks to have a casting for the wastegate which i have never seen before.... as for the turbo, the wheels used must be pretty big because to fit the front wheel they have machined out the original intake casting and had to weld on a piece of pipe...i guess this brings the question how much can you modify something and still call it original ?.

the turbo on gm 747 is a nissan hiflow built by mark and the old owner of ATS. my mate is currently getting the same thing built but with new mods it will be slightly bigger
