MAHLE make a killer product, and having done work for mahle australia, and toured the facilities, i've seen first hand what they're all about. the Mahle Powerpack, with the coating, etc. is the way to go. thats what i've done in my RB30. they retail for about $1700, but i cant beat them, in my opinion. They do ALL OEM stuff, and are the suppliers for Porsche, Merc/AMG and Ferrari/Maserati, and supply the Ferrari F1 Engines.

yes ANK, you're right, they are the quiet player in the australian aftermarket, but i've seen some crazy horsepower on their product. thier SOHC RB30ET piston was some 120grams lighter than the CP and ROSS equivalent

wow i have always looked at mahle as just a better then standed replacment but nothing to fancy thanks for the heads up but if i was to buy a set of pistons i would by cp Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

it cool, personally, it all comes down to personal preference i guess. Mahle make ACL & Ross pistons (different specs to their own branded product), and repackage in the appropriate boxes. that might give u an idea of what this company is capable of.

The reason I went for ACL is because the owner of powerhouse engines rebuilds sprint cars that "Get It Up" and run a 7.1 seconds @ 192 mph with no problems and no need for a race after race rebuild. These cars are thrashed race after race on ACL. http://www.aclperformance.com.au/index.html Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what Boostn or Rips NZ use in their 26/30's? The only other big HP 26/30 I can think of is the Pac one which according to the article in BOOST magazine, it has CP pistons and ARGO rods mated to a clutchless though.
