But if you want a rough idle I would look more at the stage 4. Cheers

The stage 3 camtech or 1165c won't have a lumpy idle, they only have 218 and 220 thou duration at .50.Actually remind me of a rb25 at idle, how they are smooth but have that every so slight glitch/idle dip every 6-10 seconds that 25's have .Everyone thought mine was rb25. Not till you go up into the 230+ range where that will happen. cheers darren

wats the go with reground cams? afaik they take a bit of meat out of the lifter blocks to reset the cam specs? is there any disadvantage of goin reground rather then a new cam?

as it sounds RE GRIND they grind meat off the lobs then you need machined lifter blocks to match

stage 3 camtech is a good choice. ive got one but its N/A, but still stage 3 is a good size its not too big where u cant drive around town the specs say its rpm range is between 1800-6000 which is a goo rpm range i reckon and it will lope at idle to give that tough sound but nothing crazy like blower surge lol.

Nah was a mates though, its got a sierra rear wheel and to4 H trim front with a t04 comp cover. It made 270rwkw on 20psi on a rb25 r33, it also went 120mph with this . Another mate has indentical turbo on a single cam, manual aswell and it has made 270rwkw on 16-17psi with a tighe 1665c(same dyno) So auto, it depends how cheap the converter is(as modified $300 standard converters definitly show less than $1000 ones .... probally 220-240rwkw. Enough to do at least 116-118mph(auto) traps and into the 11's sorted, and put away most pesky cammed ls1's..lol But **** not putting a camshaft in these motors, they need them badly, even if its a baby cam, put one in for gods sake..lol cheers darren

H trim compressor is 58mm inducer from memory. Any turbo builder will have a look at it mate and send you in the right direction. Depends what you already have, could be a h trim/v trim? cheers darren
