That would be sick, But it would be a shame to see DUF go to someone who doesnt appreciate it.

I know 3 people that owned GLDJET. the first owner had most of the work done by casey and when it got painted it was just a blow over. He even put the upper moulds back on with liquid nails. So nothing special. DUFFS body and paint was better than GLDJET before he got it painted

truly a stunning car. the amount of dosh spent on suspension braking diff etc would be getting towards the 10 plus rubber, paint, trims. as said it would make a hell of a roller. there isn't much you could do to it body wise except drop in a driveline. i'd expect to see it with an 8 in it if you sold.

You do not get your money back when modifying cars. You guys make me laugh when you say its worth 10k... You can buy immaculate 10 second VLs complete for 15k... Dont get me wrong its a very nice car but you be lucky to get 5k for it as is.

you saying that must turn bogs on so much! good luck with the sale man i wouldnt sell it thats for sure Quote: Originally Posted by 5spdvl Gotta love opinions, hey? Let's be serious guys - this car is set ujp to run 10s, with the right motor and box. It has the added addition of not only being LW5/MX7, but having an immaculate paint job, and custom trim. I'm with Chris on this, $8K. the axles and suspention set up would handle a 8 sec pass

just a question but why would you sell it and build a drag car when you havent even got the best out of this car yet. people are running as quick as high 8s in untubbed cars very similar if not the same as yours why would you bother its just going to set you back another 2-5yrs building another drag car from scratch when you are already there. if money is no object then still atleast 1-2yrs to have a fully ready drag car finished painted and running. up to you in the end but i would say keep it and get it to the low 9s atleast before worrying about a drag car.
