I need help deciding. Originally I was liking the vx's, but I think the vy's have some nice lines. Tough choice.

VY GTS are definatly the way to go imo, I'd definatly go a 35/40 setup before you sell man. As soon as you feel 20+psi snap you'll be all smiles and not want to sell it aha Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No doubt about it. It's not running as well as I'd like it to at the moment, so I've got some fixing up to do while I save some cash again. VY GTS's it will be, I just need to sell the old wheels so I can have some spare change.

New headunit on it's way, so stereo and tint will be brought up the list. I was looking at my water pump yesterday, has a wobble in it, it's probably nothing but I'll have to factor in a replacement when I do my next major service. Aircon is magic, but when it is on the car wants to stall, it doesn't, but rev's drop down to about 200-300rpm. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I was going to wind up the idle but then with aircon off it will be too high. Redoing my boot install as well. Retrimming it all in a different coloured carpet, flush mounting the amps in the floor. Good times.

You don't hear "fantastic air con" and "VL Commodore" in the same sentence often. Glad to hear those hoses worked out for ya.

Well it took a lot of fiddling, my fan at the front isn't connected at the moment so it could be even better. And in the end we didn't use the hoses! They failed to tell me that they wouldn't guarantee any work if they didn't use new parts. Fair enough - but of course I'll pay the extra for new parts. I sketched my boot install today - same layout as my old false floor, but halving the thickness of the sheets - flush mounting the amps, and now incorporating a small area to hold the tyre iron, vice grips, star/flat screwdriver. Not sure what other tools would be handy.

Is that about my revs dropping with aircon? Wouldn't be suprised, stupid CAS controls how much air is in the tyres. But having said that, I just replaced it about a month ago, I didn't do the bearing, all looked okay so I just did the sensor.

This ia f*cking beautiful car man. Definetely get the VY GTS 19's. I'd normally say the VX GTS but the VY GTS ones just seem to look better on it in those photo's. Can't wait to see the photo's with the wheels really on the car. Jason.

Thanks man, yeah I was initially very against VY's, even looking at them now I'm not really a fan, but I can't really argue with the picture, they'll suit better. With any luck they'll be on shortly.

very nice vl bax love the colour, its come a fair way from when u first got it i always liked vx gts's more, but in those 2 pics the vy's suit so well

Thanks mate. Just purchased a turbosmart dual stage controller. 10psi on it's way. Apart from that I'm working on my boot install, good progress all round. Thinking about selling it though - need the cash for other things.

Negative on the power figure. I think I got told when my engine first got run in, but it wasn't anything special. I'll get a new read out when I up the boost.
