No probs as they are both T3 Flange so just bolt up, does get tight next to the block where the oil lines go but there is room to fit. We cut hole in top of manifold and welded the wastegate flange to that and mounted it there. For an all round turbo for street and strip you cant go wrong with the GT35/40 .82 exhaust outlet for mannual and 1.02 I think for Auto aplications, Brent will know exactly which one.
you can even still use the factory heat sheilds
Head gasket was Nissan one

Yeah i used a Greedy Profec B dual boost controller can preset two different boost levels, you should be around 280-300RWKW with the new mods easy as, you will be impressed with the power and torque slippery in 3rd gear, be prepared to start breaking things, I bent my lower trailing arms when launching at the strip put a 90 degree bend in one, had to box in the replacement ones for extra strength, sheared my hanger bearing in two on the drive shaft once my LSD was rebuilt after it was slipping at the drags, morale of the story, power will find the weakest link.
Just remembered we had a 15-20mm spacer block made to lower the turbo down to get a bit more clearance, was cnc cut from solid steel and used longer bolts

Cheers Kris
Nah not mine, I'm working towards something like that though
The factory Delco computers are very good, just needs a custom tune which I had done by Torque Performance ($1,000 from memory)
The only things other than the charger kit (and cooler if you want) are; Bosch 044 external pump, Bosch 42lb injectors, rising rate fuel reg, custom tune, 3" exhaust and headers. On 6psi mine made 250rwkw. 10psi and a cooler should make 300rwkw, all on a stock motor with stock intake manifold
You'll also need to think about the auto box

Any ideas Guys
I reckon go for something new. RIPV8S is suits a quick 4/6 like your old car. Personally I don't like message plates much either
Or RB26 your VS

07-07-09, 16:20 GMT+10#26 yeah i have already been through a couple of gearboxs, and am going to get a lsd built, yeah if i get close to 300rwkw il be a very happy man,
year i have seen that a few guys have made spacer plated to lower the turbo, would it of fitted without the spacer and you must of used 2 gaskets,1 between the turbo and spacer and 1 between the spacer and manifold(sorry to clog up this thread with my shi* guys)

Yeah mate thats the one, the gaskets are cheap as, I think there was not enough room to mount without the spacer, housing hits the block and would cause damage, really good choice for the VL

07-07-09, 17:26 GMT+10#29 yeah i thought i would go with the tested and proven option as it works really well, did you have the .86 turbine housing?and you used steel gaskets note the composite gaskets,i usually get the steel gaskets from turbochargers nz,they are the only gaskets to use.cheers for the info kris

Yes the .86 exhaust housing power from 2500 rpm all the way to 6000 rpm in every gear stuff all lag and huge amount of torque.
