NEW QUESTION FOR SPRINGS =D i dont no much about springs, but i like my car sitting low so i have ultra lows in the rear with the little rubber caps taken off (no idea wot they are called). The front springs..my mate chopped his stock front springs on his VS. Can u do the same for a vz? I couldnt care less about the negative feedback. all im after is the answer YES or NO. if ur gona say something else go fist yourself =]

well half the ppl in this thread are going for choppies, i dont think they're gonna go to the extent of a camber kit..... but for the OP, tyre wear will be something to keep in mind if you wanna drop your car down in the weeds, especially if you run big rims on the rear.i think its just one of the side effects of being hectic that you deal with. why do you guys hate choppies? is it because of the stories floating around of springs falling out and ppl crashing? the rough ride and 'crap' handling? or tyre wear? i've been in heaps of cars with choppies, although they are indeed **** to ride in, i dont think the handling is really 'dangerous' if your driving sensibly for the conditions, its not like you have to baby it around to keep it on the road or anything. i'd even go as far as saying that most would handle better, especially in VN's etc, just takes the soft edge off that floaty, boat-like feel. ride quality is a trade off i'm willing to live with, considering i can drop my car for free. and tyre wear.... i got a welded diff+stockers on back anyway so that was never really a priority thoughts/opinions? reasons why i shouldnt chop my springs? (VN live axel) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
