Are you talking about this one? I was at a Holden scene motokhana/drift/ skin pan day with him it only cost $110 for the day it was well worth it! http://www.holdenscene.com/forum/vie...php?f=33&t=423 (http://www.holdenscene.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=423) http://www.holdenscene.com/forum/vie...php?f=33&t=804 (http://www.holdenscene.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=804) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my mate picked up a fb rx7 roller with rego for basically the price of 6 months rego, spent a few weeks putting it together, putting in a 12a, wiring, and welding the diff, its *** drift pig, goes insane! or if ur hellbent on holden research the buick GNX, same engine as the vn's but factory turbo, as far as i know.

oh? my concept mods wise would be - extractors / exhaust intake mani dremel port 5.0l efi throttle body custom intake pipe CAI other - mini spool. - could go vlt diff to pull in the tyres but axles are more difficult to purchase. stripped interior rebuilt brakes panhard and lower suspension steering wheel thats a pretty bloody good start i would think aswell as some synthetic oil, fresh coolant / fresh brake fluid / pads. again just basic stuff. obviously no centrecaps are allowed so stockys rear with extra pressure to decrease sidewall flex. up front some sticky 17"s again with the pressure up a little especially for street tyres. i don't think i will be needing an e-break to begin with but it could be on the tracks down the way. mates a welder by trade so we might dodgy up a taxibar and a brace for the rear end. also i will need a sticker kit for the battery location and tow points and from the SC article it says i would need a secondary bonnet latch. maybe some dodgy wire hanging straight down me thinks.

Reading this thread reminds me of what me and my mates were going to do. Get a POS VN or VP, put a manual gearbox in it and spool the diff. Get a trailer, strip the interior....pretty much leave in the car what needs to be there and piss the rest of. Still considering doing the same thing, but its all time and money. Then where is it going to be left?!?
