24-05-09, 20:35 GMT+10#21 hey everyone had a great day thanks for racing / turning up / organising the event.
i have a heap of photos but not now. just got home and i'm wrecked!
anyway hdtvlct / 5spdvl + his brother and i saw heaps of members and made a new friend. his username is vkzombie. pics and details soon!
there were a lot of breakages and spills on the track. duf was looking mint as was bubalu's ride and all the others. was great to see hamoud's vl for the first time however he had a hairy moment on the gas where he may have veered into the second lane. if not he was close.
also who has the stephens vls? they performed great but "VLBT1" had a radiator held in with a screwdriver, a mount franklin special overflow bottle for his radiator overflow bottle (yes an over flow just in case the over flow overflows) and a mystery pink rag on the chassis rail near the catch can.... great bay buddy!

25-05-09, 00:59 GMT+10#31 lol poor xsagnt his car took of well then it looked like his wheel was ready to fall off for the rest of the way i suspect a broken axle or something must have occured on take off.

25-05-09, 08:50 GMT+10#35 Wow, what a day! Finally got to put some faces to names, and it was great to meet you all!! Huge thanx to X-Chase for making this happen, thanx to everyone for making the effort to get there, and a big thanx also to Heathcote Park staff, for letting us reserve the whole first row, which would easily have been filled if all the vl's had parked there! (would've made a great photo too).
Ive got a few photos that I'll try to get up tonight, but I think everything's pretty much been covered by now.
So many mint VL's (let alone all the other cars there!) (insert Homer-style, tongue out drool), most making ample power.(I think I was the only N/A there? Thankfully not for much longer)
I hope I never meet any of you at the traffic lights! haha.
Hope all the long distance travellers, have a safe journey back to their destinations.
