thank fark you didn't do that dash yourself or you were going to get reamed on here! *sigh of relief* yeah i reckon its great buddy. looks like you have heaps of parts for it, the chasers look mint by the way. you have done really well on the diff exhaust and giving the engine a freshen up, all i could recomend is doing a nice intake mod whether its cai or just a panel filter in the stock box (don't do a pod in the engine bay it will just suck warm air and be worse than a std box with a panel filter) also things like the afm / distributor and other sensors so when time comes to drive it you will have a reliable car.

Yeah the pod is going and im goin back to box with K&N high flow panel filter and turn the box into CAI with pipe coming out bottom of box facing towards front bumper with mesh over pipe. and the car has no sound system at all expcept for 2 clarion 4 way 6x9's i got off a mate(not in car tho). im fixing all boot rust now and stop all the water leaks and new carpet up walls and bottom with sound deadner and the boot lid has spray foam in it. and i still need chrome dress rims for pursuit rims then ill put them on with tires

lol.. hey man again like the others have commented like that your doing it all yourself my comments and suggestions are - berlina tail lights, slap some nightshades and clearcoats on them if you must - standard dash, maybe plug some blue led's in the back or something i dunno - paint your window surrounds black so it matches the dark tint also how come you wacked flat top forgies in ? i wouldve stuck with a lower comp piston which wouldve been a lil off pace in the mean time but kickass for a turbo later on as youve got everything else ready for one minus a cam change

I know the dash is **** , did u read my comment? and i like the light cause its different to every other VL.

wow qld can go suck a big hairy ****! as for tubs back in the day hdt hsv and all the race cars had 'massaged' wheel arches. pretty much they got in there with a dowelle and a mallet and gave them a flogging. give it a whirl. it adds extra character to the car and while its not tubbing, it also looks standard and you can tell your friends its something thats pretty unknown and you picked it up from the group a tourers of the late 80's and early 90's. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

that is bad, but have seen worse, it probly would be cheaper to buy a clean vl shell??? or just another one in general... but at the end of the day anything is repairable if ya got the cash$

be cheaper to buy a clean shell dude, dosent seem worth it to get something like that fixed if its cheaper to buy another one with minimal rust on it
