thanks guys we are all over the moon that the car has gone so fast in its first meeting hopfully we can get it 2 go a bit faster with some sorting out
pnp The car weight is 1246kg with me in it and has only seen 35psi thanks
ank i hope you enjoyed your self and your more then well come any time mate.
last but not least thanks 2 all my pit crew and mates 4 all your support.
Now ive typed it into this turbo calculater as 1246kg or 2746lb with 1073 flywheel hp and got a traction perfect run et of 7.96 at 171 mph which is pretty spot on to the mph it has run.
Now if i typed in 1073 rwhp and then add say 20% for driveline loss it equates to 1287 flywheel horsepower so add that to with the 2746lb and you it should be running 7.49 at 181 mph so i am tipping it must be flywheel horsepower there displaying.
Check it out for your selves or try other calcs there all pretty much similar.

Also tried it in this other calc which i put weight 2746lb the et 8.16 and the mph 171.40 and it will tell you how much flywheel hp the car is making and its pretty close to whats displayed also.

07-04-09, 18:47 GMT+10#24 i'd say its rear wheel power, cause in the post u quoted it says 35 PSI, and it can run 50 PSI and is going a lot faster than 8.5 now days.
