12-03-09, 15:37 GMT+10#21 ^^^ that's actually true, happened to my mates VS a lot, sometimes just to get it started we had to poor water over the CAS just to make it start, then it was fine.
Until you turned the car off and tried to start it again...

06-04-09, 21:03 GMT+10#25 I still havn't found out the problem on my car either. It starts perfect when its cold but when its hot it struggles to start, and if it starts and then turns off straight away, it wont start up for at least five minutes.
Stooge:
have you tried/checked/tested the fuel pump?

Ive changed the fuel pump and its the same. I dont think its fuel as mines dual fuel and it happens on gas too. It will randomly turn off and will only start after I leave it for like 10 mins. Then will die after a few mins of driving! WTF. Some people have said the coil could be playing up.

08-04-09, 17:09 GMT+10#27 if your thinking it could still be electrical that key thingin the glovebox stuffed up on mine. i took it out and havent had an issue since had very similar symtoms to you. its like an imobiliser and cuts the fuel pump. u could be hitting a bump and it flicking then you play around for a while and bump it again and off she goes?

Hmm nah the slot for the boot button fuse is empty in mine. Happens on gas too, so must be electrical?
