Ok its been nearly 2 months since i've been out to the track and i am bloody hanging for a hit! This Sunday will be the day. I have purchased a new PWR radiator today so hopefully by friday it will be here, just in time for the weekend. Even if it isnt oh well i'm going out anyway. I have also picked up a better set of front semi slicks too. So with a bit of luck i may be able to get that illusive 1.20.00 or 1.21.00 My mate is back for the weekend and he will be taking out his lotus exige and my other mate will be out in his Wrx. So hopefully the plan is to show them that a crappy old cab can play with the boys. lol I'll keep you guys posted. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well I doubt I will have a oil cooler kit on by then, so if I don't have it done, I can still sign upto Austin7's and then get a cams license intime for next session yeah? I'll be driving down to watch you none-the-less man. You taking your car out too Jake?

had 1 of the best motorsport days of my life 2day, got to mallala at 730am... was wet when we first got there but managed to push the r34 gtr to a 1.27.56... once the track dried and sun come out a tad, the tyres cum up to temperature we sqeezed a 1.20.02 out of her... so stoked considering the we where hoping for 1.25s and the car only has 260atw... cant wait to get out there again... ill get some pics up of the day soon...

Thats awesome Jake, I am so keen to get this oil cooler on and then head out there myself! Should be good fun to push myself to the absolute limits and if i come off it should be a big deal (unless like that Evo last time me and steve headed out) but yeah should be great. Were you running racing slicks on the R34 Jake? I have absolutly no idea on what time I would pull, probably a 1.25 or something probably slower See how these tyres hold up. 255/30's all round I wont have it ready by this session but I'll still come out and watch, and do some videoing Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

just make sure u have some awesome pads in her wayne, we cooked the front pads and on way home went to metal the tyres were just a soft bridgestone potenza street tyre... let me know when u plan on heading out and ill see if i can get my mate to bring the 34 down again... I am going to be putting in it a new set of Benidix Heavy Duty pads, We'll see how these hold up. I am going down to watch Steve this Sunday but hopefully have my car sorted for the following session, will let you know Jake. I am running 255/35/18 tyres, see how these hold up, just got to watch how hard I power out of corners because the rear end steps out a tiny bit if i punch it heaps hard out of corners on the street. But the track tarmac is heaps more stickier is it not?
