This unfortunatly reminds me of the time I took my VL to Pro Street Performance at Lawnton (thank god its not open any more). Its a real pity to see such crappy work on such a good car. Some of that stuff is down right dangerous. I assume to have a registered business that works on cars (particularly LPG installs), you need to have a licence (or be part of MTAQ??). If so, i'd be reporting this to them.

Yes, ebay T3 flange/manifold with some made up, gay thing custom "if thats what you can call it" T5 flange. The list goes on, it's so sad to see such a car go thru this. But this all said, The car is in good hand's now, josh is very happy to have his car at EFI and will be getting everything done right now. He told us today he wants it 100% back to it 2006 day's by my cruise at the end of this month. Wait till you see the end product.... WHITEY

Even I wouldn't attempt to move engine mounts like that! Geebuzz Also on the oil feed looks like only one copper washer was used? will leak in time.. Might want to make sure EFI takes a look at that. As with my experience with EFI. You cant polish a turd but fuck they had a fucken good go on my car and i cant wait till i drop it back to them.

Look on the bright side,at least they only buggered $20 engine mounts to make the Turbo fit and didn't "cut" a hole in the bonnet ! Wonder how long the Ebay manifold would last under that weight ? (LOL) MT

does the new much larger truck turbo spin on idle??? was the old cracked manifold leaking? not allowing the old turbo to spin on idle? did the car get a dyno tune? how much did this josh guy pay in the end for all this work and did he get all his old parts back? or are they being flogged off to the next VL customer that walks in?? he woulda been better off buying a new 6boost manifold and fitting the catch can himself. i don't understand why he had to get a new wastegate, u can usually tell if a turbo is rooted, its either making no power, oil pissing out everywhere, massive shaft play, blowing smoke, chipped blades, or all of the above.

It does, but it's a blain bearing TRUCK turbo that wouldnt even spool up in top gear with a 3000 stall. Car never made the dyno we wouldnt want to waste josh's time/money to get no resault. Old mate seem's to think he can make power out of josh's car and said that this combo is ofter used on his big HP car's. I can honestly say, if he was even to attempt doing so, the car would be so laggy it wouldnt even be worth driving. A kyle kit is getting priced up as we speck, old mate charged josh $3000 to do all this and now he is at the stage of no return. I mean i can see why people are scared to send there cars to performance shop's after seeing what this shop has done to such a great guy in josh. Josh isnt very mechaincly minded, he love's to st race and love's a skid, all in all he love's his car but cannot justify the money to be spend on other people's misdirection..

far out, i'm sooooooo disappointed, how come he didnt start out with EFI in the beginning? that engine mount thing he did, i know mechanics that you COULDNT pay to do that failure, they just wouldnt allow it, so unsafe and dodgey. did he get any of his parts back?? i'll have to have a serious think about taking my car to EFI sometime in the future after the cruise this month. hopefully i'll get to have a chat with some of you at the cruise.
