Under the side skirts are black,i havn't checked behind bumpers, will do that tomorow arvy. What are the pins ur talkin bout?It has the series 2 interior.
the side skirts should be held on by white clips. these white clips are secured onto the sill by what can only be described as pins that have been tack welded onto the sill.
if the white clips aren't there or are held on by glue / screws then id guess its not a calais.
Do the wagons have the rear map lights? Or the centre map lights?
If they do, only calais' (and optioned up berlina's) have the proper mounts for the map lights.
Checked it all out the sarvy, has the pins for the side skirts, alarm keyhole in glovey, black paint behind bars, didn't pull up carpet so unsure of build sheets.
Lookin pretty good tho,i'm pretty convinced its genuine, which make me pretty happy.

Vins are the same, both on strut and plate.

Having done a fair bit of VL option conversion work, one thing I noticed that was a little difficult to get correct was drilling the holes between the doors and chassis for the wiring when retrofitting power windows/central locking; particularly without removing the doors.. Without a factory example to reference from, it's pretty much guess work.
Remove the rubber grommets around the wiring, and see if the steel is bare - the holes are drilled before painting in the factory - someone may have neglected to repaint the exposed steel after drilling the holes.
Otherwise, if your VIN on the plates and strut tower match, I'd say you've got a winner.

I'm pretty sure its genuine, jus got sum dodge numbers on it maybe.
I'll check those holes though,i doubt many ppl would bother re-spraying,cheers dude.
