10-10-08, 15:20 GMT+10#21 Lucky i remembered to check this thread haha...
I'll get pics up today... He swears its December 85 dated on the tags...
Its not a convert as he got it for too good a price for someone to want to sell a car that has had all that work done.
EDIT: Just phoned him for pics and he'll be home in 1/2 hour or so so they'll be up nice and snappy!

10-10-08, 15:31 GMT+10#22 like its a big deal anyway lol... just makes it a 23 year old family car rather than a 21 year old like most others... not as desirable as a SII imo...

10-10-08, 15:42 GMT+10#24 in rareness wise, if it were a VLCT and plated 85 it would be even better, could even go as far as saying it would be one of the first ever built...

not likely the turbo engine wasn't released straight away it was held off until after the release of the entire range of body shapes and all the initial drive / modern motor / wheels reports

21-10-08, 14:35 GMT+10#37 I've actually seen 2 VL's with the date-stamp Dec 85. Within the same week actually, at the same wreckers.
Actually spun-out for a while after seeing them, and I eventually came to believe my eyes were just playing up on me that day. Didn't think I actually seen what I thought I had seen.
...But, you proved me wrong... Atleast my vision is good lol, better than what I thought.
