yeah my housemates give me crap for venetians as well i tell them they are girls, 1 drives an mgf and the other doesn't have l plates so what do they know about cars? i think venetians are certainly a niche scene though.

you need to rip the whole strut out. so you need to disconnect the balljoints witch is a cu*t of a job or what i found easyier was to take the whole lower control arm out brakes off. sway bat etc bit of work involved

yeah i just did it in mine, like skitzvk said there is abit of work involved but it could be done in a day, quicker if there is two of ya. oh adn it will make it alot easier with some spring compressors and a rattle gun. with mine took me awhile as my steering joints and ball joints were siezed up and were a bitch to get undone.

you can't comment on babalu's car because only members can comment in those sections. (members rides) but everyone can post their own car up there. should all be written in a sticky in that subforum.

update: the alternator died on sat night.. and of course it happened just as i was going out... how much does a reco one normally go for? my mate said he can get one for $40... sounds alright to me... aww yeah i see, how much does it cost to become a member, like $50?

i think its like $40-50 for a new voltage regulator. and easy to replace

oh thats cool im not too worried then.. so the alternater dieing... therefore not charging the battery proply and finally not at all.. would that explain the sudden crazy electrics problem ive been having the last 3 days... like the turn signals turning on when i brake... then my headunit turning off when a brake etc etc...

gold is 20 and silver is 10. gold has more extras. its worth it, its debateable what more you get access to but its good to be able to talk crap on ct.

do you kno how to check the trans level properly ? run it though each gear individualy and then leave it runing in park and then check it. some people arent awear that you need to do this.
