Haha, quite possibly the worst job I have done on my car. My arms were all cut and bruised by the time I had finished. You need midget hands! I ended using stealing various 'tools' from the kitchen - much to mums disgust - to get it done.
In regards to the door rubbers - I purchased new ones from Rarespares, and they were a bitch to fit, and with the less than perfect panel fit of the VLs, I found my doors didn't really shut properly afterwards. Apparently the trick is to leave the doors open in the sun to let the seals warm up, then slam the doors and leave em shut for a while - should help them shape up.
In the end I just hand washed my seals, and gave em a generous coat of Mothers back to black and they look like new.
