Yeah I'm stickin with the winders for that reason. I think you can get good money for a VL but it needs to be in decent condition and you have to take your time, can't expect to sell too quickly. Oh, and the VL is the most popular Commodore, I can't remember which Commodore magazine it is, but every issue that has had a VL on the cover has sold atleast 20000 more copies than any other issue (well, those were the numbers last time I saw something about it). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

While i'm not from NZ, I can say this much... A VL Calais for $1,000 ~ $1,400, I have my doubts. In Aus anyway. i've owned 5 VL's I think now? Stripped 2 that were Calais', and with both cases i've made over double in cash what you think they're worth both times - thats after i've deducted what the cars cost me in the 1st place. Prices will continue to drop for a while wherever you are, but eventually they'l become a uncommon enough car that prime examples espesically the brock models will fetch a fortune. If they don't already.

Over there maybe............this is NZ the land of the japanese import!!!!! and boy racers and young boys are not remotly interested in old commodores!!!!! only the odd few are!!!!!
