If you did a turbo conversion on the motor thats in it, youd be lucky to get an extra grand, but if you put a turbo motor in and did the gearbox, brakes and diff you could get another 2500. It sucks hey man, even though youve spent alot of money replacing stuff, it doesnt really increase the value much because well, to put it bluntly, vls are old and wearing out and buyers know this, so they definately dont want to pay for repairs that the previous owner has done! Like if i just spent 5 grand painting my vl i would be lucky if the cars value increased any more than $500 because the paint only needed re-doing in the first place because the cars so old, the paint should have been good anyway so the potentiol buyer really couldnt care less how much you spent! You NEVER get your money back on cars. If you pay $50 000 for a brand new car, the SECOND you drive it out of the delears its already lost $5000 value just because its now "used", so basically anyone who buys a new car is a moron Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
