87 Calais - yeah don't get me wrong, they do **** up constantly.. when i got the pcv valve and breather I took the rocker covers in and plugged them both in before paying. People tend to think 350 chev stuff is the same as holden which is pretty amature when they reckon they are specialists.
To answer the dash $$$$ question.. $4600 including gst. The full ADL is somewhere in the $8000 mark but it allows for more inputs that I would never use.
VAYK8 - it's actually running like arse at the moment, the carb needs a proper fuel curve and jetting put into it. Hopefully got a day on a dyno coming up with a guy who knows avout all these things soon.
The front and rear are all in primer and bog at the moment, I'm working on making a one piece front and rear Group A style fibreglass clip with all the lines and joins taken out.
Question for all you people in the know.. this girl has a freaky loud exhaust and will probably fail a warrant because of it.. does anyone have a mate who can put ticks in the right boxes for cash/beer/bourbon?

and before you say it "get a black strip for boot"- Nick had one, but cars 'so fast' it peeled itself off.
So if you have one, then im sure Nick would be keen to grab it off you...
Ill let Nick know, if he hasnt seen this already. Cheers Benny.
I is tidy, Needs a bit of a tidy up. I did the one peice bonnet and boot for him, they need revisiting though as the fibreglass bubbled up for some reason.
The one piece front bumper is sik as aids, very kol set up.
Once we get some spare time, its booked in for a respray with me.
Hey! Yeah thanks, was a magic day, albeit with a bit of a overheating issue but nothing too serious. Thanks for posting the pics Kelvo. I think ultimately I'd like to have one piece glass versions of all the side trims and the black strip painted or vinyled on. Not really intended to be a show car but I prefer cleaner/simpler panels rather than all the bits of trim that never seem to line up!
Anyway, I would highly recommend a playday on track to anyone and everyone. It was a nice controlled but relaxed atmosphere and a pretty cheap day out for $135 entry.
