a mate of mine works in the labs they have tested that out of synergy, vortec, ultimate and vpower there all pretty simular only big difference is mobile keeps its octane readings the longest as they are stored in the tanks all the others loose octane strenth thats what they tested but still i think bp is the 1!

I dislike shell fuels, there octane rating seems to be all over the joint with not much control, a lot of people lost motors when there 98 came out as it varied alot and i have never trusted them since. Bp has always been the one for me, except i started using boost 98( also with 10 percent ethanol ( but apparently they have taken that of the market now or still sell it but with no ethanol). cheers darren

British petroleum is easly the best fuel. I would never ever buy safeway/woolworths fuel after the fuel problems that I heard from my mechanic. He said its rubbish..

theres not that much difference between them is there. They have all been tested havent they and the only big difference is shelf life

Hey Daz, maybe they have just stopped selling it down your way?? Freedom sell boost 98 up here and still has 10% eth, I believe there was a fuel test somewhere recently(no, not the motec one) and boost 98 came out on top, including against V power racing. Its also 5-6c a litre cheaper than ultimate and the like. However afer running 2 batches of it thru my ute, its def not worth the added savings, fuel consuption went up from 13.2-13.4L/100, to 14.6-14.8L/100, I monitor my fuel consumption pretty religiously and know it inside out, so figures are acurate and not driving style based. Hoqever even if it works out on par, price wise, if it makes the most power, who;s gonna argue over a few cents 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thats what i heard, i have no car..so no care. But what i do know is that heaps of uniteds have shut down here, so the closest one from me is now 30 mins away. Lucky it is 24hrs and close to town. E85 is here now and the pumps are set up less than 10 mins from my house and are 24hrs, so hopefully they start selling it there soon. (they have the pump marked with it) All the good fuel is on the other side of town atm cheers darren
