Can you get pics up mate??
i didnt have my camera with me it was just luck that i saw it at the back of a dealership yard i keep an eye out when i travel into the sticks and i came across that. not looking forward to the 4hr drive but i think i might go up on tuesday/wednesday and make them an offer
i reckon buy it, we bought a mint exec off the second owner for $3000 with 12 months rego and have never looked back, no rust, no dodgey repairs, mint interior, clean bay, it feels like you have a 5 year old car not a 21 year old car
i have seen one on display in a dearlership in a small country town couldnt tell you how many k's it has done but would be confident in saying under 20,000 by the way it looks, its a horrible cream colour, its in Dimboola Vic. Has anyone else seen this??
hmm if you buy it say hello to a new water pump radiator fuel hoses etc. cars that old with that low kms tend to develop alot of problems when a young bloke hops into it and it starts to get driven hard!
go for it. as any restorer / modifier will tell you. its best to start with the cleanest / blankest canvass available. once you factor in paint restoration and rust and all that sort of stuff the car would be worth a little more than a standard vl. as stated the car's worth nothing being an sl but its ceratinly worth something considering the condition (i assume) of driveline paint and trim.
